A comparative soil liquefaction analysis with a Matlab® based algorithm: soiLique

Soil liquefaction is one of the ground failures induced by earthquakes. Determining safety factor and settlements are most common analyses to decrease liquefaction-induced hazards. Scientists have suggested numerous empirical formulas detect mitigate liquefaction-based hazards, they been used over decades. This study aims present a user-friendly interactive program for deterministic soil analyses. The algorithm presented in this study, soiLique, first MATLAB® program, including graphical user interface that provides analysis with computation parameters propounded formulas. One advantages soiLique it allows picking physical property every layer (i.e., fine or coarse), which dealing prone layer(s) directly when necessary.
